When I think of a couple that emulates what a Christ-centered life and ministry should look like, Anthony and Melissa Medina are as close to exact as you can get.
I’ve had the privilege of ministering beside them, breaking bread around a table with them, and the honor of having prayer covering from them. In each of these facets of relationship with the Medinas, I always leave each encounter desiring to be better! I find myself hungering for deeper relationship with Jesus after even the smallest text conversation with them.
Melissa’s heart for prayer and intercession is intense, and she carries such a spirit for travail that it makes no difference if she’s praying for a personal issue or the government of a nation, the evidence of a tangible shift is always present. We need more watchmen like Melissa in the perilous times we find ourselves in.
Anthony is a deep well of wisdom, patience, and quiet, yet obvious great authority. His heart for intimacy with the Father, solitude, and learning the art of rest is so refreshing! He challenges me to look introspectively but with no judgement…only a loving father heart that is so desperately needed in our culture today. The accuracy in which he ministers prophetically is with pinpoint precision and such a gift to the Body of Christ. His dry sense of humor always brings a laugh, even in the most inopportune moments!
If you have the amazing opportunity to glean from the Medinas in any form or fashion, don’t waste it! You will leave better than when you started and with a new hunger for the deep places of the Holy Spirit!
