25 Sep New Worship Wells
From here on, worshiping the Father will not be a matter of the right place but with the right heart. For God is a Spirit, and he longs to have sincere worshipers who worship and adore him in the realm of the Spirit and in truth. (John 4:24 TPT)
The Bible declares that God longs to have sincere worshipers who worship and adore him in the realm of the Spirit and in truth. When we cultivate a heart and posture of true worship, the Lord breathes life into us, sparks endurance and births vision for the return of His glory.
Melissa and I were recently at a revival meeting in Dallas. As we engaged in worship, I began to see—in the spirit—a team of people working in a field. They were all together digging a large hole. I asked the Lord what I was seeing and He said that what I was seeing represents worship teams across the globe. They were all together in unity, digging in the same direction. They were all using the same digging tool, a platinum shovel.
The Lord then asked me if I knew what the difference was between gold and platinum. My response was, “I don’t know, but Google does”, so I picked up my phone to begin an online inquiry. Here’s what I found:
Gold feels harder than platinum, but platinum is actually the stronger of the two. Platinum is also more pliable than gold. When gold gets scratched, that bit of gold comes off and is forever gone. When platinum is scraped, it’s just a surface scratch due to its pliability, causing no damage or loss to the mass of platinum.
Then the Lord began to describe how He was calling worship teams in this hour to dig wells together to uncover the new song and sound of Heaven yet to be released in this season. These are worship teams that have been together for a while. They’ve been battle-tested together, but none have fallen off because, like platinum, they were strong, yet pliable, unwilling to hold offense, which would cause those of the team to be cut off and removed.
He wanted these teams to know that they are on the brink of hitting the water of refreshing that is going to cause a release of the new sound and new song that will shift atmospheres. So keep digging! Keep going deeper in unity, in understanding, in forgiveness, and in love. Once you hit the water, don’t stop digging. Continue on, writing the melodic word of the Lord and composing the sound of heaven, thus strengthening and establishing a well of renewal.
